EC-ENGLISH was founded by Ev Charlton in Finland in 1999.
A university background in Psychology and Sociology, and subsequent training as a copy-editor and proofreader enabled a successful freelance copy-editing career in England.
Removal to Finland added a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) qualification and work as a teacher and freelance editor, so familiarity with the errors commonly made by speakers of the Scandinavian languages is a particular strength.
No project – whether a simple Email or a full-length book – is too big or too small.
